SOS SKYN

SOSSKYN is a sensual-sculptural clothing label. 

We make garments for a post-industrial age. Each peice you see is totally unique. 

We are interested in translucency and liquidity. Our clothes are alchemous, gelataniousness, opaque. Our motive is a low-fi couture. 

We make ready-to-wear clothing, made to be worn and relished. The peices need bodies to complete them (skyns/skins). Your body is part of the aclehmey.

sosskyn clothes are soft and skin-like. We use salvaged and organic experimental materials: glistening rubbers, sliicons, stretch elastics, eco resins and satin latex. Fabrics are almost exclusivley reconditioned. Anticipate both rawness and delicacy in every peice. 

We use a range of DIY techniques in our studio: casting, scorching, dipping, dying, embossing, sponging, fusing, frothing. Other processes melting and corrosive New techniques are always being developed each season.  Each item of clothing is hand-processed and will contain fingermarks, streaks, fillaments, fractures. Garments may be unstable. Check each item for its delicacy listing.
